Refunds and cancellations

Eligibility overview

Refunds depend on who cancels, how much notice is given, and whether the lesson has already begun. Think Mosaic does not sell downloadable products or shipped goods; these rules cover lesson fees and deposits only.

If Think Mosaic cancels

If we cancel an atelier series, clinic, or review sitting, you receive a full refund of fees and deposits paid for that booking. You may instead transfer the payment to a later date if both sides agree in writing.

Atelier deposit and student cancellation

The ₩90,000 atelier deposit holds a seat and counts toward the ₩495,000 fee. If you cancel fourteen or more days before the first evening, the deposit is returned in full. If you cancel between thirteen and seven days before the first evening, half the deposit is returned. If you cancel with fewer than seven days’ notice, or you do not attend the first evening without notice, the deposit is kept. Fees paid beyond the deposit for evenings not yet held are refunded on a pro-rata basis when you cancel before those evenings begin, minus the deposit rules above.

Missed atelier evenings

Individual missed evenings during a running atelier are not restaged for one person and are not refunded separately. The candle pack remains yours. A later markup review can be booked at the normal review fee to cover material from a missed night.

Clinic cancellations

Clinic fees paid in advance are refunded in full if you cancel at least three full days before the clinic. Later cancellations and no-shows keep the fee, because the shared table seat cannot be reliably refilled.

Markup review cancellations

Review sittings cancelled with at least one full day of notice are refunded in full or moved once at no charge. Cancellations with less than a full day of notice, and no-shows, keep the sitting fee.

Work already started

Once a clinic or review sitting has begun, that sitting’s fee is non-refundable. For an atelier already in progress, remaining unused evenings may still follow the pro-rata rule above when you withdraw in writing before those evenings start.

Materials

Printed packs included in atelier or clinic fees are yours to keep and are not separately refundable once handed out. Reviews assume you bring your own paper.

Rescheduling

One reschedule of a clinic or review is allowed without fee when requested within the notice windows above. Atelier series dates are fixed for the group; individual evenings are not moved for one student.

Refund method and timing

Approved refunds return to the original payment method within ten business days of written approval. Bank transfer fees charged by your bank are yours.
